Good is certainly one of those words over-used to the point of being meaningless. Thanks for the reminder of true goodness, not just "good."

I sometimes believe that what we deem "good" may not be measure the same by God, but I wrestle with it just the same. Thanks for a post that wrestles, too.

I completely agree about calling painful hard things "good" just because good came from them. God brings good fruit out of tragedy, but that doesn't make the tragedy less tragic. It's an insult and offense to the person who suffered the pain to tell them they have to call it good.

A quality or attribute–not a behavior. Great way to think of it. Like love, good isn't what God does, it's who He is.

We think of goodness as a behavior, or as several kinds of behavior. But what if God sees it as a quality, something behavior comes from? Good post.
